Who we are
Lake Charles Pool Builders is an independent guide that helps homeowners in Calcasieu Parish understand pool types, prices and local rules, and connects them with one local builder. We don't design, sell or build pools.
What happens to your request
- You send a request, with your calculator range if you used it.
- We pass it to one licensed builder who works in your town.
- The builder calls you, usually within a business day, visits the yard and gives you a written quote.
Your request isn't blasted to a list of companies, and we never sell your details.
How we're paid
The builder may pay us for referrals. You pay nothing. We don't rank builders or claim any one is the best.
About our prices
Our ranges are estimates built from published 2025–2026 cost guides and local permit values, checked November 2026. They aren't quotes; the builder sets your price after seeing your yard.
Before you hire any swimming pool builder
Whether the builder came from us or from anywhere else, these six checks protect you:
- Get the price in writing, with what's included: materials, labour, site prep, permit and cleanup.
- Ask whether the builder pulls the permit, and who books the inspections.
- Check their licence or registration where your state or city requires one, and ask for proof of liability insurance.
- Ask for two or three recent jobs nearby that you can drive past or call about.
- Agree on the payment schedule before work starts. A modest deposit is normal; paying most of it up front is a warning sign.
- Ask what the warranty covers (workmanship and materials) and for how long.
